Incorporated in Illinois in 1960, Jensen-Souders & Associates has specialized in the storage and handling of hazardous, flammable, and chemical commodities. What traces back to the Fred A. Jensen Company has grown into two secure, fully compliant facilities serving the Chicagoland area.

Our History
Six decades of steady growth
- 1920
Fred A. Jensen Company Founded
The company is founded at 510 N. Dearborn in Chicago, Illinois.
- 1960
Incorporated in Illinois
The company is formally incorporated in the State of Illinois.
- 1966
Becomes Jensen-Souders & Assoc., Inc.
The company name changes to Jensen-Souders & Assoc., Inc., and Wilson Souders attains shares in the company.
- 1969
Move to Itasca
Operations relocate to 725 N. Baker Drive, Itasca, IL — an original 42,000 sq. ft. warehouse with primarily floor-stacked storage.
- 1981
Warehouse Expansion
18,000 sq. ft. is added to the Itasca warehouse.
- 1997
749 N. Baker Drive Acquired
The company purchases 749 N. Baker Drive, adding 43,000 sq. ft. of capacity.
- 1998
Flammable Storage Added
A flammable storage room and racking systems are added to the facility.
- 2003
Hazardous Storage Facility
749 N. Baker Drive is converted into a dedicated hazardous storage facility.
- 2023
Belvidere Location Opens
A second warehouse opens at 3915 Morriem Drive, Belvidere, IL — originally 30,000 sq. ft. and now expanded to 60,000 sq. ft.
